Securities & Derivatives Representative, Custody Operations

Join Citi's Custody Operations team as a Securities & Derivatives Operations Representative, where you will play a key role in the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. Working within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will support the accuracy and integrity of transaction processing across trading desks and branch offices, contributing directly to the operational reliability that Citi's clients depend on.

Responsibilities

• Process and coordinate securities and derivatives transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices, ensuring accurate and timely settlement.
• Monitor settlement activities and evaluate data to identify errors, implement corrective actions, and maintain the quality of completed tasks.
• Apply data analysis tools and methodologies to identify process improvement opportunities within the securities and derivatives settlement cycle.
• Analyze operational data to support recommendations for new products, services, or platform enhancements.
• Identify gaps in existing policies and propose practical steps to streamline settlement workflows and reduce processing risk.
• Prepare operational reports and analyses in line with defined procedures, ensuring outputs meet accuracy and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams across functions to ensure assigned settlement tasks are completed effectively and within established controls.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 1 to 4 years of experience in securities operations, derivatives processing, or a related financial services function.
• Working knowledge of securities and derivatives instruments, including the policies, procedures, and concepts that govern their settlement.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats, including when escalating issues or presenting findings.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and assess operational risk, with a sound approach to compliance and audit controls.
• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Commitment to passing the Proficiency Test for Trust Operations Personnel as a condition of the role.

• 具備監控和評估營運風險的能力，並對合規和審計控制有健全的方法。
• 高中畢業或同等學歷。
• 通過信託業務人員專業能力測驗。
